Died on November 12th, 2009 but his legacy and philosophy live on: when laying sod, “green side up” when trying to sleep in “rise and shine candy ass” when picking strawberries “use both hands” when chopping wood to stock the fireplace “some burning and some drying” when witnessing men laying block or brick on a job site and they were within earshot he would roll down the window and yell “TIGHTEN UP”, when arriving home after a long trip it would be “home again, home again jiggity jig”, when attempting to force a slower driver to speed up or change lanes it would be “sh*t or get off the pot”, when seeing frost on the leaves outside “looks like jack (frost)  was out last night”, when working somewhere extremely hot it was “hotter then a well diggers A$$” …….more to follow
